About

Cristian Mitreanu is the founder of the human strategist platform Ofmos Universe, which equips students and professionals with higher-level decision-making skills and cognitive tools that are essential to success in an AI-powered world, where everybody is a manager and orchestrator of resources. He is building the platform's four experiential pillars — including the upcoming game OFMOS and course BizBigPic — around a unique, unified understanding of humans, businesses, and economies through the lens of intelligent behavior.

Cristian is a seasoned product professional based in San Francisco, having successfully brought products to market for technology and edtech companies such as Apollo Education Group and Cengage Learning. He taught two Stanford Continuing Studies courses for product and marketing professionals, which were developed around his foundational theories 'one-need theory of behavior' and 'ofmos theory of business.' Over the years, his ideas appeared in several outlets, including the reputable MIT Sloan Management Review.

From a small city in Romania to San Francisco, Cristian's experiences with different societies and transformations, including the fall of communism, have fueled his lifelong passion for building solutions that use systemic, big-picture understanding to transcend changing environments. He holds an MS in Management and BS in Computer Science from Politehnica University of Timisoara, and an MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he also founded and organized the program and annual conference TEDxUIUC.
